Standard length and price of Lutjanus fulviflammus were investigated and best management practices for fisheries were discussed. While the species reached a size suitable for harvest (<180 mm SL) at age 1 year between July and September, their price at this size was too low. The price increased from October to December before the species reached maturity the following year. The release of fish with a standard length of less than 180 mm, which have a lower price, between July and September may be a means of increasing the population of mature fish, which will also be of increased price. Survivorship of the species was estimated at 77.3%/year using a catch curve.
