Students interested in global change impacts to fish, wildlife and their habitat would be welcome to spend a year in residence at the U.S. Geological Survey's National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center (NCCWSC), located in the headquarters office in Reston, Virginia (near Washington Dulles International Airport). The NCCWSC (http://nccwsc.usgs.gov/index.shtml) will provide office space, computing facilities and may be able to provide some travel support during your tenure. Interested applicants should send a cover letter outlining your interests in working in the NCCWSC and current resume to Dr. Doug Bea rd (dbeard@usgs.gov).
